These are a few of what I like to call Designs Without Lines, where I place random blobs of color until they look like something, then shape them into animals and add patterns an accessories and things. These are some of my favorites! I really like doing these.. they're easy, quick, and very rewarding. Who knew there could be something like that in art? XD It's not important to get anatomy right, I just have to look at the blob and imagine what it could be. It's like getting inspiration without having to look past your canvas. I think I'm able to do that because I've been paying close attention to the shapes in common anatomy, so I can piece it together from more vague shapes. As you can see, I really like a certain type of nose. P:
